The Pioneers: Hajime Soroyama

Soroyama though in my opinion isn't strictly a fetish artist, he does do a number of paintings that deal with fetish content.

I would say chief of his fetishes is the painting of highly eroticized robotic women. But I have seen dominant and submissive women in his portfolio, as well as perhaps my favorite ponygirl art ever.

His style is extremely precise and very technically accurate, though some of his work that was very popular in the 80's was more stylized. I recall one of my older siblings had purchased his art book, and it was the first time I ever knew that an artist could compile a collection of work and sell it in book form.

I would sneak peaks at that book whenever I could.
