Is it ok to have dark fantasies?

Yes. The End.

Don't worry, you know it wouldn't be me unless I rambled a bit and this one's a humdinger.

Not only is it OK to have dark fantasies, but I think almost everyone has them. Now, what is dark to one person may be tame to someone else, but I think everyone has those hidden little secrets in their mind. The stuff you won't even tell your partner. Those places you don't go every time you want to get off, but on special occasions you like to dip into the reservoir of REAAALLY taboo things that make you feel very naughty.

What IS important is that in real life, you live by the words CONSENTING ADULTS. Obviously, a child is not an adult, an animal can't really give it's consent. A drugged or unconscious person, or someone who doesn't know what they're consenting to can't give consent. Someone who is threatened, or coerced in any way, is not actually giving consent either.

So, make sure that your sober adult partner knows what they're getting into, and keep the really dark crazy stuff for your jerk off sessions, and you'll be fine. Unless you're one of the few people who has a mental illness of some kind dealing with sexuality and in that case, the kind of porno you look at online isn't the problem the rest of us are most concerned about, but rather what you do in the world.

Another guideline is that in viewing porno, make sure you aren't contributing to something that caused a real life person to be victimized in the filming or creating of it. That's why the kiddy stuff is absolutely not ok, or real snuff or rape porn. You watching that is only a step removed from doing it. So don't even watch that shit. However, again, if you're the type who is into that stuff, my preaching to you isn't going to make a damn bit of difference, and if like most people in the world you aren't watching that stuff and never would, you don't need me telling you not to.

I know that a lot of moral oral types would like to make the argument that dark fantasies lead to dark actions, but the data simply does not back them up anymore than the people who argue that pornography leads to rape or homosexuality. If that were true, 90% of human males (and many of the more clever apes) would be gay rapists, and obviously, that simply is not the case.

Also, because porno in general and dark kinky stuff is sooooo much more available to today's youth than it was to me and the kids of my era, or especially of my parents era, one would think if porno corrupts, then we'd see an absolute boom in psycho sexual predators, and this simply is not the case. Rape and sexual violence has been on the decline for some time now.

The simple fact of the mater is, that some people are psychopaths who are going to do horrible awful things. For those people access to porno may or may not be a tipping point on whether they act on those demented ideas, but for the vaaaaast majority of human beings, the kind of pictures you look at, or the kind of stories you read or imagine, simply are not going to warp your mind into being some kind of menace to society.

having said all of that, one of my dark fantasies, is amputee. As you know, I love the idea of power exchange, and the lack of certain limbs is like taking bondage to it's furthest extreme. Never ever would I want that to happen to me or anyone else in real life. However, the pretend fantasy of it can sometimes be sexy to me.
